Using the latest portable CMM technology and 3D metrology software, IS Tecnik provides a NATA traceable mobile 3D PCMM measurement service to meet a wide range of industry measurement and metrology needs.
Our portable CMM equipment is easily transported to your site anywhere in Australia in a single wheeled case, and may be set up in any convenient location in minutes, to efficiently and accurately inspect either small complex parts or large parts up to 6 metres long.
Components are typically able to be measured quickly in-situ without disassembly or transportation, and without fixturing. A rigid mounting base is not required for the measurement system.
The ease and accuracy of measurement of suspension mounted or otherwise flexibly located equipment is greatly enhanced by our optical CMM's ability to track the measured part's reference coordintate system in real time throughout the measurement session, adjusting the probed position relative to the actual part position and orientation as every measurement point is recorded.
Inspection output is available as an IGES CAD file of all measured geometrical elements and surface points or as a detailed numerical inspection report. CSV or spreadsheet files of point cloud data are also available.
Our Measurement Service Inspection Capabilities include:
Direct geometrical measurement
CAD model based inspection
Determination of complex surfaces
Either CAD guided or free-form point cloud acquisition
Real time motion path tracking and analysis (multi-point)
3D metrology
Our portable CMM measurement service is able to fulfil a wide variety of inspection and measurement applications as well as specific measurement needs related to engineering development activities such as deflection analysis and mating part design.
Typical Measurement Service Applications:
Castings and Forgings
Large and Small Plastic parts
Verification of Moulds and Dies
Checking Patterns
Assistance with Dimensional Analysis for Die Trials
