IS Tecnik provides the Accu-Size range of precision precut Stainless Steel shim, which is ideal for packing adjustment of all rotating machinery and any other industrial alignment needs.
Standard
Accu-size stainless steel shims are exclusively manufactured from superior 304 grade Stainless Steel to provide excellent strength, stability and corrosion resistance.
Accu-size shims are precision cut and have no burrs or sharp edges. A unique tab design on each shim allows easy insertion and removal even where bolt access is tight.
Our full range of stainless steel shims are manufactured to the highest level of thickness accuracy and the actual precision gauged thickness of each shim is indelibly etched in both metric and inch sizes, eliminating the need for thickness measurement.
Accu-size stainless steel shim from ISTecnik is available in four standard sizes: 50x50, 75x75, 100x100 and 125x125. Full sized bolt cutouts are provided for each shim size. This ensures that equipment manufacturers' requirements for machine support area are not compromised and equipment feet are not subject to distortion damage when tightened.
Precut stainless steel shim kits are supplied in a sturdy metal carry case containing an assortment of 13 standard shim thicknesses from 0.025mm to 3.200mm.
Full-case alignment shim kits contain 260 shims, with 20 precision cut shims provided in each thickness.
Handy-case half-sized kits contain 130 shims, including 10 shims in each thickness.
A full range of replacement stainless steel shim packs are available in all sizes and thicknesses. Shim is stocked at our Australian warehouse in all sizes and thicknesses, ready for same day despatch to meet your order.
We also have a standard range available of 316 Stainless Steel shims, and are able to provide custom designed shims at a highly competitive cost.
Using Accu-size precut stainless steel shim provides higher alignment accuracy and stability compared to other types of shimming materials. The elimination of time wasted finding shim material of suitable thickness and cutting shim material to size saves money. Precut shim also avoids the risk to operators of sharp edges and prevents incorrect packing heights that may be caused by shim distortion and edge damage during hand cutting.
By having an extensive range of 13 shim thicknesses at hand in either a Full Case or a Handy Case of Accu-shims, maintenance personnel are able to quickly put together an economical shim pack of any desired height, further saving time and money.
