Robust high performance dual-axis level / inclinometer modules for project integration
DWL5000XY, DWL5500XY & DWL5800XY are 2-Axis Precision Inclination Sensor Modules designed to be integrated into a machine or structure for real-time monitoring of 2D level, tilt and inclination angles as well as vibration levels.
Embedded in these intelligent tilt sensing modules is Super-MEMS sensor technology, able to survive over 3,000g multiple shock/impact tests, IP65 sealed in an aluminium case and precisely calibrated for non-linearity and compensated for a wide operating temperature range.
A ‘plug & play’ PC Sync Software interface allows the inclination modules connected via the DWL5000XY Series Control Box to instantly acquire and display real-time tilt or level readings from the sensors and to control externally connected peripheral devices without the need for custom program codes, thus leaving engineers more productive time to focus on their main project activities instead.
Alternatively, experienced engineers are able to download Digi-Pas Dynamic-Link Library with your own coding to directly extract live inclination data from the tilt sensor module, bypassing the control box.
These inclination sensor modules are tough, durable, waterproof and shock resistant. They have a small footprint, contain no moving parts, and are enabled to communicate through various protocols such as USB, RS232, RS485 & Wireless Bluetooth.
The accuracy performance certification of these modules is verified by 3rd parties accredited calibration & test bodies in Japan, U.S. and Germany in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and/or ANSI/NCSL Z540 standard(s), traceable to NIST, JIS & DIN.
These high performance tilt sensor modules are ideal to conduct exploratory scientific research or projects in many industries, even in very unforgiving/harsh operating environment which were previously difficult or unable to do with traditional ‘bubble’ spirit level or conventional pendulum/servo-based inclinometers.

Digi-Pas® DWL-5800XY is a 2-Axis Precision Level Sensor Module of extremely high accuracy of 1 arcsec, that is specifically designed for real-time simultaneous display and manipulation of 2D levelling, angular readings, vibration, straightness and surface flatness of a plane.
The Control Box enables single or multiple Digi-Pas 2-Axis inclination sensor modules to be accessed in real-time through various industrial communication protocols such as USB, RS232, RS485 & Wireless Bluetooth. It is the HARDWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT specifically developed to empower Application Engineers/Scientists to INSTANTLY (i.e. plug & play) access to leveling readings and tilt angular data without needing to write those time consuming software codes, thus freeing up their time considerably to focus on their core tasks of a project.
The PC Sync Software is a ‘plug & play’ interface (embedded with National Instrument software) instantly enables application engineers to remotely capturing multiple tilt sensor modules for 2D leveling, tilt angle display & data acquisition, alignment and vibration measurements via USB cable/ RS232/ RS485/ wireless Bluetooth connectivity.
When used in conjunction with the DWL5000xy Control Box, the software also enables application engineers/scientists to set tilt angle/vibration limit values to trigger external peripheral devices such as siren/alarm, valve, motor, strobe lights, etc.
